Pick n Pay Clothing is looking for a Security and Risk- Co-Ordinator to implement measures to prevent issues and risks in the operation space.

Requirements

• Previous experience as Security and Risk Manager/Co-Ordinator
• Grade: 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Computer literate – MS Outlook, Excel, Word. MS Teams.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends and stock takes after hours
• Willingness to travel to stores (nationally)
• Willingness and ability to undertake physical hands-on tasks

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify operational efficiencies with regards to security and risk matters.
• Identify potential security risks, such as theft, fraud, or vandalism, and implement measures to prevent these issues.
• Conducting risk assessments of the store's physical premises, including evaluating fire and safety hazards and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Monitoring inventory levels and implementing procedures to prevent losses due to shrinkage.
• Analyzing data to identify trends or patterns that could indicate potential risks to the business.
• Developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures to ensure the store operates safely and competently.
• Training staff on risk awareness and prevention strategies to create a risk management culture within the store.
• Ensuring first aid kits in all stores are up to date.
• Monitor all stores and follow up with stores that need to test their alarm weekly.
• Follow up with area and store managers if their security audit reports are being attended to.
