COE Lead at IndSAfri

Job Purpose:

• To actively own and be accountable for the overall evolution of multiple Technology or Domain assets while influencing and maintaining the health of the asset. Play a leadership role on the associated Centers of Excellence (COEs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the evolution and maintenance of multiple technology or domain assets.
• Influence and ensure the health and performance of these assets.
• Provide leadership and guidance within the associated COEs.
• Understand and apply middleware technology, including integration systems and streams.
• Develop and maintain middleware systems on various platforms (AIX Unix/Windows).
• Utilize and integrate technologies such as DataPower, API gateways, SOAP, and REST.
• Develop in languages such as C, C++, Fortran, JAVA, and scripting languages like JS, Python, and Unix Shell.
• Work with archiving technologies (e.g., IBM P8, CMOD) and integrate them into enterprise content management solutions.
• Support and maintain the design for core systems like ECS/ECP.
• Adopt event-driven and asynchronous designs for long-term system benefits.
• Design and integrate microservices within the banking technology platform.
• Navigate and provide solutions for technical challenges.
• Understand and work with intelligent capture software and Exstream software.
• Apply knowledge of SAAS and PAAS models.
• Ensure security and compliance with patterns and technologies like F5, ISAM, AZP, Webseal, and API integration platforms.
• Utilize cloud integration technologies (AWS, Azure) and frameworks (Java Spring Boot, .Net).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Mentor and coach team members within the area of expertise.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience in middleware and integration systems.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and scripting.
• Strong understanding of enterprise content management and archiving technologies.
• Experience with microservices design and cloud integration.
• Knowledge of security patterns and cloud operating systems.
• Ability to lead and influence within a COE environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in middleware, cloud technologies, or related areas are a plus.
