Commercial Manager - Molatek at RCL Foods

• RCL FOODS  is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our Sugar Business Unit  based Malelane. The successful incumbent will provide commercial/financial support to the Mill in order to manage the business effectively

Minimum Requirements    

• CIMA / Accounting degree, essential.
• Sound financial and commercial accounting experience with at least 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Advanced MS Excel & SAP experience is a prerequisite.
• The ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy is critical to this position.
• Needs to act as business partner to operations, be action- orientated, self-starter with good communication skills.
• To be considered for appointment, candidate must be a South African citizen.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Engage with operations to maintain a comprehensive understanding of operational activities and provide an overall commercial / financial management service.
• Manage cost through liaison with departmental managers.
• Maintain the production order process & ensure the ongoing relevance of the Activity-Based-Costing model.
• Compile monthly management reports & explain deviations.
• Compile annual business plans and periodic forecasting.
• Manage the capital expenditure process & drive reduction in working capital.
• Enforcing company policies & procedures.
• Provide insightful sales & profitability reports to the sales executive.
• Inventory management & control process.
• Prepare insightful OPSO & EXCO presentations for the managing executive & drive strategic decision making.
• Sales commission calculation & ad hoc support to the managing executive
