    Commercial Manager

    Job Description

    ABOUT THE JOB

Our Analytics team come from diverse disciplines such as statistics, research methodology, mathematics, psychology, business, engineering, physics and economics. These professionals drive innovation, new product ideation, develops complex analysis and delivery of data insights to help clients in the CPG industry run thier businesses with increased efficiency. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work collaboratively between our clients, the delivery team and the commercial team to define the client business questions & identify the appropriate solution. 

    • Be in continual contact with key client stakeholders, to strengthen partnerships.

    • Design and deliver precise, accurate, timeous and actionable proposals on solutions that will answer the business questions of clients.

    • Be able to engage at a C-Suite level with clients, in a professional and value adding manner to ensure we are always assisting them and adding value to their business.

    • Be strong in your admin, detail oriented, and precise as your input will have a direct impact on the client and NielsenIQ performance. 

    • Be able to work across NielsenIQ functions, understanding the strengths & weaknesses of each division and how each helps our clients so that you can speak to clients in a holistic way.

    • Grow the penetration and frequency of the NielsenIQ Analytics services with clients. Grow existing accounts, and find white space opportunities

    Analytical and Technical skills: 

    • Ability to distil technical data analytics in a simple, client friendly manner

    • Strong aptitude for data analysis.

    • Solid critical/ logic thinking.

    • Business acumen, finance and budgeting knowledge

    • Experienced in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, etc) and mapping tools.


    Qualifications

    • Professionals with degrees in Economics, Marketing, Sales, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields involving statistical analysis of large data sets.

    • 3+ years of experience in market research or relevant field

    • Solid understanding of CPG/FMCG Industry and Retail market impact on client’s business within the market.
