    Commercial Manager Pricing

    Role Purpose/Business Unit

    The role of Senior Coordinator: Pricing is to be responsible for structuring pricing for fixed and managed solutions, conducting commercial negotiations for global connectivity opportunities, creating high levels of performance in a timely manner, being innovative in propositions and ensuring customer needs are addressed with achieving key financial requirements of VBA

    Your responsibilities will include

    • Execute Vodacom pricing strategy based on a keen understanding of the company’s capabilities, positioning and market dynamics.
    • Deliver on profitability targets, whilst enabling the sales teams to compete effectively in the market.
    • Perform profit and loss analysis on all deals
    • Deal structuring & pricing to support Sales win rate strategy.
    • Financial and Commercial Analysis of bids to maintain margins and profitability.
    • Swift analysis of information and articulation of the results to key stakeholders.
    • Compliance to process documentation and communication of, as well as ensuring best practice is applied to pricing methodologies and operations.
    • Reporting: Provide management with detailed analysis of tracker report on key wins and losses, for daily, monthly, and annual results
    • Maintaining governance to business processes and approval processes

    The ideal candidate for this role will have

    Core competencies, skills, knowledge, and experience

    • Knowledge of telecommunications industry, market trends and the products thereof
    • Commercial acumen
    • Analytical skills
    • Ability to establish networks with individuals in all functions and to influence and coach stakeholders with logical, rationale analysis and clear explanations.
    • MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
    • Thorough understanding of pricing methodologies and the impact pricing decisions have on profitability.
    • Understanding of transfer pricing and international tax and regulations thereof
    • Effective reporting and presentation skills
    • Team player

    Technical / Professional Qualifications:

    • Matric Certificate essential
    • A Financial / Business / Commercial Tertiary qualification
    • 3 years commercial pricing experience in the telecommunications industry
