Commitments Officer at HWSETA

• Required minimum experience: 4-6 years as a Commitment Officer; SETA experience would be advantageous; SAICA Articles an added advantage
• Minimum Educational Requirements: Matric/Grade 12;  B.Com Accounting/Finance; B.Com Accounting Honours added advantage

Duties: Financial Administration; Commitments

• Administration; Adherence to relevant systems, policies and Governance process; Ad hoc duties and Auditing:
• Carry out additional duties or responsibilities, which fall reasonably within the domain of the role profile, or in accordance with operational requirements
• Assist with Internal and External auditing processes, as and when necessary
• Adhere to the implementation of the financial management of the financial management systems and policies; and optimize control and processes
• Commit new DG contracts and Amendments contracts on the commitment register
• Manage and maintain commitment register
• Prepare Month and yearend Discretionary grants accruals and provision journals etc
