Compliance Officer at Blake Group

About the job
You will be working in the Compliance Department, assisting the business in complying with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements by identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring and reporting on compliance risks facing the business.
 

Responsibilities :

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Compliance programme
• Assist business with management and review of internal control environment
• Draft and review company policies and processes
• Plan and conduct compliance training
• Promote compliance awareness throughout the business
• Provide guidance and recommendations on corrective actions or risk mitigation on risks identified
• Plan and conduct compliance monitoring activities
• Report on compliance related activities
• Performing of other compliance related duties

• Strong command of English (written and verbal)
• Ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion
• Maintain highest professional standards
• Able to work on own initiative, multi-tasking and prioritising workloads
• Strong work ethic
• Strong attention to detail

Qualifications and Experience :

• Appropriate tertiary degree or compliance qualification
• 3-5 years IT and / or Information Security experience
• Clear Criminal Record
• Advanced MS office skills
