    Consumer Research Associate (Remote South Africa)

    Who We’re Looking For

    We are looking for a Consumer Researcher with experience in running and reporting qualitative and quantitative studies.

    • Writing consumer research surveys and qualitative discussion guides
    • Scripting surveys and organising research fieldwork and interviews
    • Reporting research findings, ensuring we have actionable insights
    • This role requires someone who can take initiative, is a storyteller and team player. While being experienced in delivering excellent research studies, the ideal candidate should also be a great communicator and consultant to stakeholders within the marketing group and wider business.

    Key responsibilities

    • Contribute to marketing and business strategy with qualitative and quantitative research, analysis, and reporting
    • Manage the quarterly omnibus study of consumers from fieldwork to reporting
    • Work on executing strategic research studies to support the business on strategic initiatives
    • Work closely with the market research lead and data analytics to provide actionable insights for the business
    • Support building out our consumer personas and deliver insight for market viability studies
    • Design questionnaires and identify the best on methodologies for strategic initiatives, collecting data and assimilating statistics
    • Manage survey tools and data collectors and ensure competitive sample cost
    • Manage focus groups, carrying out and report in research interviews, focus groups and workshops

    Requirements

    • 4-5 years experience in market research running quant and qual studies
    • Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data sets
    • Ability to use survey scripting tools
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Comfortable measuring, interpreting and presenting consumer insight data
    • Experience with common statistical methods and applications
    • Research agency experience is a strongly preferred
    • MUST be located in South Africa to be considered
