Your Role at Impact
The Associate Content Marketer supports the content marketing team and the rest of the organization in the planning, developing, and implementation of engaging, high-impact product, event, and marketing content that drives business success for Impact.
The Associate Content Marketer works closely with different subject matter experts within the organization, such as the leadership team, product and product marketing team, partner and CSM teams, and more, as well as external stakeholders for voice-of-the-customer perspectives.
The Associate Content Marketer stays abreast of industry events and changes, developing a range of multimedia content (blog posts, infographics, eBooks, microsites, videos, etc.), to support the growth of the partnership category. This position requires a highly analytical thinker who approaches content with an audience-first mindset.
The Associate Content Marketer helps analyze content responses, discovering which content engages, and helps hone the strategy toward results. At the same time, the Associate Content Marketer suggests new content formats to test out on audiences.
What You’ll Do
Support the full content marketing program, from ideation and brainstorming process through to production and launch of new thought leadership pieces based on overarching product themes across both demand-side and supply-side perspective
Know Impact’s user, technology, the greater industry, and competition, and be an informed voice to help drive content strategy and creation
Develop domain expert in the area of performance marketing, influencer marketing, strategic partnerships, ambassadors, etc., to help establish the Partnership Cloud as the pre-eminent leader in partnership management solutions
Help maintain a comprehensive content calendar for the organization
Write and edit thought leadership pieces to support marketing and demand gen activities, including whitepapers, blog posts, bylines, webinars, eBooks, and other forms of marketing content
Support the ongoing development, distribution, maintenance, and amplification of bylines, ebooks, blog posts, podcasts, videos, whitepapers, infographics, interactive microsites, research pieces, and more
Apply creative storytelling techniques to present our positioning, thought leadership, and messaging in fresh ways that resonate with each target audience
Partner with sales, marketing, partnerships, product management, sales enablement, and operations to ensure increased diversity of voices throughout the organization to discover and capture point of views, practical experiences, advice, best practices, and other forms of partnership knowledge — from organizational knowledge to customer wisdom
Optimize and run the content approval and content launch process for new deliverables
Read and digest primers and training materials produced by product marketing and SMEs throughout the organization to generate new angles of thought leadership
Assist in providing direction to the design team around how to execute on content projects
Review, comment, correct, and help copywrite content emerging from other members of the marketing team (including ghostwriters) and mentor them to become better content creators
Provide Copy review and editing for some press releases, one-sheets, website, and other pieces of content originating from other members of the marketing team

Multimedia production skills (audio, video, interactive) are big pluses
Experience in the CRM, performance marketing and affiliate marketing space
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
2-3 years of content marketing or communications experience
