• Clover is currently recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Advisor.  The purpose of the position is to drive sustainable operational excellence by identifying, facilitating and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. This exciting opportunity is based at the Clover Clayville branch.

Requirements    
Degree or Diploma in:

• Industrial Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Production Management
• Operations Management
• Supply Chain Management
• Related Technical Discipline
• 3 to 5 years' experience in manufacturing, process improvement or operational excellence.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing preferred.
• Proven experience managing improvement projects.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.

Duties and Responsibilities    
Continuous Improvement

• Identify and facilitate continuous improvement projects.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen and problem-solving initiatives.
• Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement solutions to improve productivity, quality and cost performance.
• Drive standardization of best practices across departments.

Process Analysis & Problem Solving

• Conduct root cause analysis on production losses, downtime, waste and quality issues.
• Gather and analyses operational data to identify trends and performance gaps.
• Prepare project plans and improvement roadmaps.
• Monitor and track improvement project benefits and sustainability.

Performance Improvement

• Improve current policies, procedures and operational practices.
• Support production teams in increasing OEE, throughput and line efficiencies.
• Reduce waste, losses and manufacturing costs.
• Assist with capacity improvement and process optimization projects.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams.
• Coach employees and supervisors on continuous improvement methodologies.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions and problem-solving teams.
• Drive a culture of employee engagement and innovation.

Reporting & Governance

• Develop weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Track savings, productivity gains and project outcomes.
• Present recommendations and project updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements and operational procedures
