What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for Monthly, quarterly, half yearly and year-end reporting and disclosures requirements for the group in compliance with IFRS, group accounting policies, statutory requirements, and the company’s control procedures.
• Oversight and Management of standalone audits of group entities across the DPO group, engagement with auditors
• Manage Treasury activities – cash management & forecasting, Intercompany financing arrangements , rationalize bank accounts
• Track, manage and optimise the FX exposure of the group
• Finalisation of Monthly Consolidated balance Sheet 
• Design, implement, monitor, and improve a robust Financial Controls Framework
• Develop and implement RCSA controls testing process overseeing the remediation of deficiencies identified
• Remediation of all Internal Audit open items.
• Accounting papers on significant accounting matters including IFRS interpretations
• Drive automation in Finance function
• Oversight of billing function and Receivables Positions and working capital requirements
• Oversight of procurement function

What you'll need

• CA(SA) or equivalent
• 8-10 years post-articles experience
• Track record in building out functions within an organisation
• Experience in Financial reporting and consolidation at a Group level
• Experience in developing and maintaining a strong control environment
• Ability to manage audits with various degrees on complexity
• Treasury and FX experience
• Management experience
• Ability to challenge and review with an analytical mindset
• A good understanding of “best in class” reporting
