Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee, Controllership Finance

In this role, you will be responsible for performing Finance activities. You will liaise with various teams, and deliver to ensure accurate solution.

You will collaborate with team and ensure streamlining of existence process and remove NVAs from process.

You will also need to mentor the new hires in the process.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for ensuring accurate and complete income statement for at least 20 BWH Stores.
• Fully responsible for raising expense accruals on ERP on a monthly basis and ensuring all accruals are accurate.
• Monitor profitability against budgets and forecast. Plan & liaise with stakeholders where under and overruns are being incurred. Provide detailed explanations of variances against last year, plan and forecast.
• Assist in creation and formulation of improved and new reporting mechanisms. Identify recommend and implement financial process efficiencies /opportunities (e.g. determine way of limiting bottlenecks in process).
• Assist in reconciliation of Intercompany accounts between the different legal entities at month end.
• To review sensitive and repairs & maintenance accounts to ensure that it complies with SOX & Anti-Corruption requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

• B.Com/ Studying towards relevant finance degree

Preferred Skills

• Time management
• Proficient with general accounting and closing and reporting.

System /ERP Knowledge

• Knowledge of SAP with Essbase , Hyperion would be an added advantage
