    Coordinator : Commercial Accounts (17629)

    About the role

    We are currently on the lookout for a talented Commercial Accounts Coordinator to work in our South Africa head office in Rosebank. This role will be reporting to the Area Business Manager.

    The primary purpose of this critical role is to provide support for nominated customer accounts and support for the area business manager team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of products and services to customers on multiple sites across the region.

    A part of this role includes reporting on key metrics, providing analysis of commercial data, assisting Territory and Area Business Managers in preparing presentations & proposals to customers, supporting key administrative functions (such as Ariba, Letters of Offer, contracts, forecasting, etc.), leading specific process improvement initiatives

    The successful candidate will also coordinate key commercial processes such as overtime & demurrage recovery, SOP forecasting, and the regional Business Improvement pipeline.

    What you will be doing

    • Developing and maintaining key commercial information in the area. Provide support for customer relationship for nominated accounts and ensure all Rise and Falls are implemented;
    • Co-coordinating and monitoring of all forecasting within the region;
    • Regularly analysing key data, providing trend analysis and corrective actions;
    • Acting as SAP / system mentor for Area, ensuring effective use of systems, including direct training as required;
    • Identifying and developing account growth opportunities where appropriate;
    • Assisting with generation of Pronto’s, Resource Models and Letters of Offer;
    • Managing Debtor compliance on nominated key accounts;
    • Managing Customer Account Setup, Credit, Statutory, Master Data, CARMS, Supply Chain;
    • Regional coordinating, supporting, analysing and reporting including but not limited to:-
    • Monthly KPI reports
    • Sprint Team financials
    • Customer Reporting requirements
    • Assisting with development /update of customer Account Plans;
    • Demonstrated variation management to capture additional revenue streams;
    • Maintaining Operational Contract Summaries for Area;
    • Acting as Business Improvement Facilitator for Area.

    What you will bring

    • Tertiary qualification in Finance or related;
    • 3 -5 years similar experience;
    • Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement;
    • Strong proficiency in systems such SAP, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Excellent data analysis & problem solving;
    • Ability to plan, influence & execute;
    • Effective communication abilities across all levels of the organisation;
    • Self-starter and demonstrated time management effectiveness.
