    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create a welcoming, inspirational, and personalised experience for all customers
    • Drive sales and turnover by motivating and inspiring the team members to achieve sales targets
    • Ensure visual merchandising standards create a beautiful store experience
    • Maintain a clean, neat, and tidy and fully replenished sales floor
    • Ensure stock levels, stock losses and shrinkage are effectively managed
    • Ensure all products are correctly priced with relevant Price stickers and /or signage

    Warehouse Driver - Edenvale

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Load vehicle according to the delivery schedule
    • Verify all stock loaded against purchase orders.
    • Ensure the loading checklist is fully completed and signed off.
    • Load and off load delivery vehicle and ensure all items and supplies are properly secured.
    • Maintain accurate records of the number of shipment/boxes on the vehicle and ensure that all shipments/boxes are delivered to their destination and empty pallets are loaded, secured, and returned to the warehouse.
    • Complete the vehicle checklist prior to departure.
    • Maintain vehicle (e.g., checking fluid levels, fuelling, cleaning, etc.) and ensure safe operation of the vehicle.
    • Ensure all traffic rules and regulation are complied with and follow best practices for safety, both on the road, while loading or unloading a vehicle and when parking the vehicle.
    • Maintain and clean the vehicle by washing it once a week, inside and outside, and ensure that the cargo area is cleaned and maintained to acceptable standards daily.
    • Maintain various files and records (e.g., traveling logs, diesel consumptions log after filing up etc.) and document activities.
    • Represent the Brand and always behave in a professional manner.
    • Ensure compliance to shopping mall house rules when delivering stock to stores and provide feedback to the line manager of any concerns.
    • Ensure all equipment and machinery are well maintained, secured, and properly stored at all times.
    • Ensure that all machinery is checked and in good working condition prior to usage.
    • Report any damaged packaged products to the store and line manager.
    • Raise any stock concerns with line manager.
    • Work together with other team members to ensure that team goals are achieved.
    • Comply with Health and Safety requirements.
    • Adhere to warehouse standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
    • Adhere to housekeeping standards e.g., ensure all areas and the vehicle are free from wrapping, waste, and damaged stock.
    • Ensure the inside of the vehicle is neat, tidy and clean before leaving at the end of each shift.
    • Handle all stock in accordance with stock handling signage, e.g. this way up, handle with care
    • Ensure that damages are kept to a minimum.
    • Record and report all damaged or missing stock to line manager.
    • Perform other general warehouse duties across various warehouse functions as and when required in support of operational efficiencies and requirements.
    • Perform other functions to assist the MD as and when required

    REQUIREMENTS 

    • Grade 12 required or equivalent
    • A valid Code 10/14 Driver’s License and valid Public Driving Permit (PDP).
    • Valid Passport Advantage
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience receiving, picking, packing, checking, replenishing, dispatching stock in a warehouse environment is required.
    • Experience with loading or offloading cartoon equipment an advantage
    • 5 to 10 years’ prior driving experience.
    • Will be required to drive 4 tonne and 8 tonne vehicles.
    • Will be required to travel long distance within the borders of South Africa
    • Resilience and physical stamina to lift, load, off load heavy, packages, and objects,
    • Ability to work overtime including shifts and weekends when required.

    Warehouse Stock Controller - Edenvale

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Move and identified stock from bulk to pick face slots.
    • Assist replenishers with locating missing stock, escalate where necessary
    • Performing quality checks in bulk storage to ensure that there are no damaged packages prior to moving stock to the required bin location.
    • Physical allocation of bin locations for new products, using analysis and planning
    • Ensure all picked products are in a clean and saleable condition.
    • Raise any expired stock, damaged stock, or out-of-stock concerns with line manager.
    • Ensure stock rotation procedures are followed (FIFO)
    • Perform cycle counts for identified stock items as and when required.
    • Perform stock counts for identified stock items and report results to line manager.
    • Monitor stock holding levels per pick face and raise any need for stock replenishment to line manager.
    • Monitor shelf utilisation and raise any areas of concern with line manager.
    • Work together with other team members to ensure that team goals are achieved.
    • Comply with Health and Safety requirements.
    • Adhere to warehouse standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
    • Adhere to housekeeping standards e.g. ensure all areas are free from wrapping, waste, and damaged stock

    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel) and understanding of WMS.
