A minimum of 5 to 8 years Considerable management experience in the production or maintenance engineering field for electrical power generation plant or similar related industry.
Key Performance Areas
Identifies and defines the immediate, short- and long-term objectives associated with the production of power generation installations
Supervising and co-ordinate the outcomes associated with utilization, productivity and performance of production personnel of the division’s production work group
Prepares information for the division’s capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations
Manages the formulation of specific contracts and tender documents and controls contractual obligations
Directs and controls the professional, technical and operational outcomes associated with the functions related to the production of electrical power
Establishing key performance indicators and measures for determining/assessing the level and appropriateness of service delivery with respect to plant availability and reliability
Disseminates functional and operational information on the immediate, short- and long-term objectives and current developments, problems and constraints
Produce monthly and annual reports on financial performance indicators and NER returns.
