Job Description    

• We are seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to join our team of specialists responsible for managing the daily IT operations of a trading business in the financial services sector. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and helping resolve any technical issues they may face. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and great communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Respond to customer support requests in person, via phone, email, and instant messaging.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior team-members.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills.

• This is a graduate position.

Ideal Qualifications    

• Tertiary education in Information Systems and Technology or related field

Familiarity with the following technologies would be advantageous:

•  Computer networking
•  FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol
•  Cybersecurity best practices and awareness of the industry trends and current threats

• Scripting
