Job Description    

• Forvis Mazars Corporate Finance is looking for a Corporate Finance Assistant Manager to join their highly successful and entrepreneurial team.
• The Corporate Finance team is among the top-rated teams in the country and the candidate will be required to perform various assignments on a wide range of industries.
• Members are involved in all aspects of the business from client engagement to final presentation of our reports.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Prepare valuation/financial models for assignments.
• Produce initial / draft reports for review by senior managers.

Assignments may include:

• Business valuations
• Option valuations
• Financial modelling
• Due diligence
• Transaction advisory
• Ensure all relevant parties (internal and external) are kept informed and involved through the engagement

Minimum Requirements    

• Honours (or equivalent degree) in Finance
• CA(SA) / Completed SAICA Articles beneficial
• Able to work in a team
• Strong client focus
• Interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills

Key Competencies

• Firmly demonstrated ability to interact with clients, very strong written, analytical and verbal communication skills
• Solving problems using a combination of intuition and analytics and ability to make sound well researched recommendations to clients
• Excellent use of MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint
• Good communicator with a sound grasp of English
• Dedicated and committed - will need to work long hours at times to meet deadlines
• Good report writing skills
