Key Responsibilities:
Drive the full costing and margin management process across the production environment
Analyse and report on operational and production costs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
Prepare and monitor factory budgets (OPEX and CAPEX)
Compile monthly management accounts and profitability reports
Perform daily sales and margin analysis
Update and maintain standard and actual costing models
Conduct new product costing and calculate internal pricing
Ensure BOMs, routings, and WIP data are accurate and up to date
Identify cost variances and recommend cost-saving initiatives
Support investment proposals and financial forecasting
Requirements:
BCom in Management Accounting or relevant qualification
CIMA (Management Level) preferred
Minimum 3 years' cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or steel environment
Strong working knowledge of IFRS, management accounting, and financial controls
Proficient in Excel and accounting systems such as Sage X3 or similar
High attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative abilities
Ability to interpret technical and production data
Comfortable working in a pressured, fast-paced setting
