Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly sales information statistics, gross profit analysis
• Responsible for Bill of materials costing and yield analysis
• Assist FM with managing production variances and  report on a daily and weekly basis
• Support stock takes, assisting with variance investigations
• Preparation of year end audit files and assist external auditors at year-end
• Assist with preparation of annual budgets and profit forecasts for the business units
• Preparation of monthly income statements and schedules for plants
• Reconciliation of inter-company accounts
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist with ad hoc projects as and when required
• Manage Fixed asset register and asset verifications

Requirements

• Computer Literacy
• Financial Numeracy
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong technical abilities
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Good team player
• Disciplined, pro-active and flexible
• Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
• At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
