Costing Intern at Freedom Stationery (Pty) LTD

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and analysing data on material, labour, and overhead costs.
• Help maintain and update costing databases and spreadsheets.
• Support the preparation of cost reports and summaries.
• Assist with variance analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with the production, procurement, and finance teams.
• Participate in stock counts and inventory valuation activities.
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Completed diploma or degree in Cost Management or related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and cost principles.
• Previous internship or practical experience in a Costing role is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
