You will be responsible for actively developing the biopharma business in our Southern Cluster countries.
In this role you will be responsible for the profitability, growth of the business and in-market performance.
You will manage a sales team and distribution partners for your region. You will work in close collaboration with all functions to ensure optimal operations in the country. Leading the country/region long-range plans, strategy and policy will be a top priority.
Identifying relevant economic, political and health trends and building strong relationships with decision makers and key influencers will be key.
You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, engaging and providing leadership to enable high performance across all functions. As a member of the EPA leadership team you are accountable for the region results, long term strategy, culture and employee engagement.
In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring that all activities comply with all local laws and regulations and internal guidelines / SOPs
Who you are:
5+ years' experience in a commercial leadership role
Proven track record of business turnaround and ability to lead cross-functional teams
Strong sales experience (either in-field or as manager, sales or KAM)
Experience in Africa or international experience are key assets for this role
Track record of strong partnership with authorities and other external stakeholders
High sense of purpose
Ability to work across cultures
Proven business acumen and experience in the industry
