    Country Lead: E-Commerce

    Job Description    
    Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Lead: E-Commerce, to join the CCBA Growth Office team. The successful applicant will be reporting into the Group Lead: E-Commerce with a dotted reporting line to the South African General Manager: Commercial.

    Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. CCBA is a NARTD market leader in Africa. CCBA has an extensive footprint in Africa, employing over 16.000 employees. CCBA vision is to Refresh Africa every day and make the continent a better place for all, growing successfully as business and creating a better shared future for our people, customers, consumers, communities, planet and shareholders.

    The role will contribute to CCBA vision by translating E-commerce strategies, leading edge digital solutions and services into operational reality, meeting business needs optimally and cost effectively; this will be done by overseeing the end-to-end E-Commerce process through conceptualization, planning, designing, execution and implementation of each digital solution aligned with Group Office strategy.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Define the vision and implementation roadmap in country according to CCBA and KO business requirements and digital strategies.
    • Responsible for implementation of E-Commerce and Marketplace solutions within the current operation aligned with defined priorities in channel, E-Commerce and existing project portfolio.
    • Entrench sustainability of implemented solutions in terms of people, process and technology.
    • Maintain flexibility and agility within E-commerce solutions as market and internal dynamics change.
    • End-to-end assessments of marketplace and digital services.
    • Manage alignments with external partners, vendors and other functions and key stakeholders.
    • Build challenges and incentives to stretch performance and conduct post-implementation assessments.
    • Monitor monthly performance and track main Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Develop and communicate best practices in the field through a strong presence on the ground and with clients.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Economics or Information Technology (IT).
    • A post graduate qualification- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent in Ecommerce will be advantageous.

    Experience:

    • 2 – 5 years of leadership experience in Commercial, Marketing or E-Commerce, handling digital solutions (or background in O2O commerce).
    • Strong experience in B2B (in indirect markets) or with D2C strategies (SA KO preferred).
    • Proven commercial acumen in business modeling.
    • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with different types of stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated success leveraging data or analytics to drive efficiency and effectiveness agendas.
    • Demonstrated stakeholder management ability to transition between organisational levels easily and influence senior leaders.
    • Proven ability to drive performance metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement in process and results.
    • Strong ability to develop structured frameworks and approaches.
