Creative Assistant (junior digital/graphic designer)

Starting in January 2021. We are looking for a smart, creative, hard-working individual to be part of digital marketing team within our fast-growing company in the FMCG personal care sector with an international footprint.

Reporting to the Creative Marketing Manager, your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the digital marketing team and existing designers in the creative positioning of the brand
• Content creation for digital and social media channels
• Interpreting digital marketing plan to conceptualize and create effective digital content
• Social media community management, plan and co-ordinate posts for various platforms both locally and internationally
• Graphic and digital design, create video, static and animated content
• Implement design within a broader digital strategy to meet business objectives
• Work on artwork and execution with resident designers

Required Qualifications: minimum creative undergraduate degree e.g. Visual Communications Design, Multi-Media Design, Digital Design, Graphic Design or other relevant qualification

Skills and attributes:

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier Pro
• Production – photography, videography and editing experience
• A passion for digital marketing
• Communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Creative problem-solving and ability to think on your feet
