    Creative Lead - Copy

    Your Role in the Team

    We get it. A new job is a big deal, and you want to know as much as possible about the team and what you’ll be doing. When you join us as a Creative Lead, you’ll form part of the team charged with the upliftment of creativity and growth of The Agency, our internal global creative hub. You’ll be one of the leaders responsible for continuously pushing the creative boundaries and providing solutions to the business's ever-changing needs.

    What you will do

    • Support the Head of Creative in growing The Agency into an effective creative hub
    • Lead, motivate and inspire a team of between 6 - 12 individuals made up of copy writers, art directors, designers, and DTP resources
    • Defining requirements for and leading the development of concepts and executions that are on-brief, on-brand, innovative and adheres to global best practices
    • Reviewing and approving assets of varying descriptions and complexities (e.g. social collateral, campaign assets, internal comms templates, etc.)
    • Lead, develop and mentor team members, creating a culture of creativity, growth, innovation and collaboration
    • Managing the workflow and output of the team and leveraging Workfront in conjunction with the Traffic Managers

    What you’ll need for this role

    You will be a natural communicator, leader and mentor, who delights in bringing conceptual thinking and solutions to all they do and can inspire your team to be brave and creative while maintaining administrative delivery.

    • A digital first and seasoned leader with a track record of creative excellence, conceptual ability, strategic thinking, and creative team management
    • A creative with knowledge of Adobe creative suite as well as executing and evaluating creative in Microsoft applications, such as PowerPoint and Word
    • A strong communicator who is capable of providing constructive feedback in order to keep the team delivery-focused, organised and goal-orientated.
    • Accustomed to working creatively in conjunction with delivering admin and organisational tasks.
    • A self-starter who takes initiative and actively works towards growing the creative capabilities and profile of the team.
    • At least 8 years relevant experience, with 2 years of experience as a Creative Director
