Creative Lead - Design at Weaver Fintech Ltd

• We’re looking for an experienced Creative Lead – Design who combines exceptional design craft with strong people leadership. This is a hands-on role for a senior designer who can lead a team, elevate the quality of the work and help turn creative strategy into brilliant execution across our brands.

What you’ll do

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of designers, providing clear direction, feedback and support.
• Partner closely with the Head of Creative to translate creative and brand strategy into strong, effective work.
• Take ownership of day-to-day design quality and creative execution across the studio.
• Remain hands-on, designing and art directing priority campaigns and projects.
• Lead creative from concept through to final execution across digital, social, CRM, web, product, print and internal channels.
• Bring strong multimedia thinking across static design, video, motion and animation.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems, templates and brand assets in Figma.
• Work closely with Copy, Marketing, Product and other teams to deliver joined-up creative.
• Review work and ensure everything leaving the studio meets a consistently high creative and brand standard.
• Help the team work smarter and faster through better design processes, tools, templates and emerging AI capabilities.

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years’ design experience at Senior Designer, Design Lead or Art Director level., with 2+ years leading or mentoring designers in a fast-paced in-house, agency or digital environment.
• Proven experience managing and developing designers.
• Advanced Figma skills are essential.
• Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong multimedia capability, including motion, video and digital design.
• Excellent conceptual thinking, art direction, typography and visual storytelling.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, multi-channel creative work.
• Experience working in a fast-paced in-house studio, agency, fintech, financial services or digital-first environment.
• The confidence to present ideas, challenge constructively and make creative decisions.
• The ability to balance leadership, strategic thinking and hands-on design.
• Help the Head of Creative to build a collaborative, accountable and creatively ambitious design team.
