What will you do?

Group Finance: Financial Operations has a position available for a Credit Controller who will be based in Cape Town.

The successful candidate will be required to perform a Credit Control Function. This will encompass the collection and follow up of outstanding debtors and allocating of monies received.

What will make you successful in this role?

• Collection of premiums from Intermediaries and clients
• Processing of financial bordereaux
• Receipting, allocating and reconciliation of premiums on our financial system
• Processing refunds and payments
• Resolving all stakeholder queries
• Resolving commission queries
• Maintain accurate policyholder and intermediary accounts
• Stakeholder management

Qualifications And Experience

• Matric
• Financial qualification would be beneficial
• Minimum 2 years previous Credit Control experience in an insurance environment would be advantageous
• Reconciliation experience

• Must have analytical ability and be able to analyse data to solve problems and provide appropriate solutions
• Strong client service orientation
• Ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication skills – all levels
• Must be Computer Literate (MSExcel & MS Word)
• JDE, Mainframe (Persetel) and Guidewire knowledge
