• EUM, part of the TWK Group, has the following vacancy available: Credit Controller at Centurion, Gauteng.

Job Summary

• This role involves controlling the debtor book through the effective collection of premiums, reconciliation of accounts, and management of client and broker relationships.
• The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow, minimising bad debt, and ensuring accurate financial records within the insurance environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Monitor and manage the collection of premiums from clients, brokers, and business partners
• Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure payments are received within agreed terms
• Allocate payments accurately and maintain up-to-date account records
• Perform debtor reconciliations and investigate account discrepancies
• Prepare reports on outstanding debt, ageing analyses, and collection performance
• Communicate with clients and brokers regarding account queries, arrears, and cancellations
• Identify high-risk accounts and escalate potential bad debts
• Ensure compliance with internal credit control policies and procedures
• Assist with process improvements and support system upgrades where required
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to resolve account-related matters

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Diploma or certificate in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advantageous)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit control or debtors management
• Experience within the insurance or financial services industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial/accounting systems
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Valid Driver's license (Code 08)
