    Customer Development Analyst - Midrand

    Scope of Responsibility:

    The Customer Development Analyst will be responsible for identifying gaps in channel, accounts and categories which seeks texploit incremental sales growth opportunities.
    They should continuously support the partnership between CP and the customer(s)/Distributors at account level.

    The Customer Development Analyst plays an integral role in ensuring the following:

    Updating and publishing a monthly information deck with:-

    • Top and new products shares, distribution and sales.
    • Colgate products share and distribution information compared with competitors.
    • The Recommended Assortment indicating the products distribution in different REs and Accounts vs. the target.
    • Category growth, RE contribution and SOM for Colgate vs. the Market.
    • Weekly sales and new SKUs tracking (across customers)
    • 5p files (customer + category
    • PromGrid updates
    • Checking and loading the Product data forms
    • POP management/ administration

    Preparing various exhibits for Reviews and Commercial team meetings presentations.

    • Point of Sale Data Vendors
    • Managing the uploading and maintenance of data tools
    • Renewal of annual contracts with approved vendors and ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are involved in the process.

    Provide external data and insights tthe Retail Environment Managers tdevelop RE and Customer expertise.

    • Performance tracking (bump charts)
    • Dunnhumby Data - Submitting reports in Dunnhumby.
    • Populating the information intthe data dump file.
    • Updating the Bump Charts - Competitor & Auto.

    POP Management

    • Collect and Collate POP Store lists from the SDMs. Ensure the POP execution is loaded and an action item on PNS Optimise System.
    • Arrange and track distribution of POP materials from the manufacturer tthe various collection points

    Africa/Middle East Division

    • Track and report back on POP execution vs agreed store list on a weekly basis and highlight execution GAPS tRM Team & SDM tassist in identifying solutions and replacement stores timeously.
    • Measure Sell out data tdetermine the efficacy of the POP during the period of execution
    • Management & Tracking of permanent POP: Arrange for the installation, removal or maintenance of permanent POP against an agreed store list.

    In - Store Analysis

    • Fortnightly visiting stores in order tidentify areas of improvement
    • The Individual

    Education:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's or similar degree is required

    Experience:

    • A proven track record of performance with at least 2 years of increasing Marketing/Customer
    • Marketing/Sales responsibility and strong relationships his/her with customer(s)
    • Fluent English
