    Customer Experience & Digitalization Lead

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The successful incumbent will be responsible for improving customer experience by fostering stakeholder engagement, leading root cause analysis-based projects for continuous improvement, acting as project lead (PMO) for strategic initiatives, driving change management through process integration, and effectively communicating initiatives through captivating storytelling.

    Duties will include the following:

    • Drive digitalization strategies in Country Cluster Southern Africa to improve customer experience, enhance business growth, and increase efficiency
    • Initiating new strategies, managing projects from conceptualization to implementation, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
    • Coordinate the implementation of new technologies from regional/local/global teams and serve as the main point of contact for digitalization ideas and requests
    • Provide recommendations to end-users on how digitalization can enhance their customer experience by utilizing, enhancing, and auditing current tools and technologies
    • Support BASF strategies at both global and regional levels while offering comprehensive business support in partnership with senior management, businesses, functions, and customers
    • Offer digitalization consulting to BU/companies in Country Cluster Southern Africa while representing the region in global/regional guilds for centrally rolled-out initiatives
    • Communicate strategies to senior management, businesses, functional units, external customers/partners as necessary

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology (or equivalent qualification), with the added advantage of an MBA degree
    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience within the dynamic B2B environment,
    • Exceptional organizational awareness, effectively navigating complex structures
    • Expertise in app development, demonstrated through notable work experience
    • Strong background working as a project manager, demonstrating exceptional skills in overseeing and delivering successful projects
