Customer Manager at AVI Limited

Job Summary:

National Brands Limited seeks to attract a suitably qualified and experienced individual to assume the role of a Customer Manager based at our Bryanston Office and reporting directly to the National Customer Manager. This individual will assist the team in growing value, volume and profit in line with the business objectives through the execution of appropriate sales strategies. Experience dealing with a "major customer" is required. Experience within the wholesale channel ideal.

Responsibilities

• Major customer strategy development and review
• Major customer management and support
• Joint working with customers
• Category growth within major customers
• Trade negotiations, promotional plans and listings
• Shared market information
• Business reviews
• Development of major promotions
• Operational management of accounts
• Analyse and report on the performance
• Develop and maintain “Partner of Choice” Customer relationships

Experience and Qualifications required

• A completed degree in Business Management or similar
• At least 5 years' experience as a Key Account Manager or Customer Manager gained in the FMCG required
• Proven track record in managing a "major customer"
• Relevant in-depth FMCG industry knowledge
• Sound business acumen essential
• Proven experience dealing with buyers
• Wholesale channel experience advantageous
