PayFast is looking for Customer Service Agents to join their team at Brookside Office Park, Claremont, Cape Town to help meet the demands of our rapid growth. PayFast is a leading online payment processing solution for individuals, NPOs and businesses of all sizes in South Africa. We are dedicated to enabling the easy, secure and instant transfer of money to online merchants to help them grow, develop and succeed in the digital economy.
The key focus is to be customer-centric and assist in creating a successful journey for our merchants who integrate with PayFast, and providing assistance to our merchants and their customers via email or telephone, ensuring that they get the most out of using our payment gateway. You will work closely with your Team Leaders and Team Lead Assistants to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
Core Competencies:
Provide exceptional customer service to all our customers, merchants and stakeholders
Resolve all customer service queries via email and telephone
Provide assistance to merchants relating to online registration, verifying new accounts and assisting with online payment queries, amongst other queries
Escalate queries to the relevant departments for swift resolution
Build customer - merchant relationships
Meet both productivity & quality standards to create an overall excellent customer journey experience
Requirements:
Matric/equivalent thereof
2+ years of customer service experience
Ecommerce, Online Payments Process and Technical experience is beneficial
Advantageous knowledge of payments, B2B fintech and financial services
