Cutting Street Operator - Cape Town at Novus Holdings Ltd

• The successful candidate will report to the Quality Supervisor: Finishing

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Reading of work ticket orders to determine setup specifications and instructions
• Set up and operate machines that perform trimming of printed sheets into logs
• Observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and or adjustments
• Ensure quality control checklists are completed and kept up to date
• Perform daily and regular maintenance tasks
• Meet specific job specifications and quality standards
• Maintain daily production records
• Maintain and adhere to all general health and safety standards in the production environment
• Ad-hoc tasks which include general housekeeping

Educational Requirements    

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Guillotine Operator Qualification will be advantageous

Experience Requirements    

• 1-2 years Guillotine/Cutting working experience
• Exposure to FMCG Production environment
