Cyest IMS Engineer at JMR Software PTY LTD

We are looking for Cyest IMS Engineer to be part of a team to design, test, analyse and report on new Mining Equipment and to implement the SIMS system, guided by the delivery roadmap.

NB: Must be prepared to travel and stay at a mine (up to three days a week). Should be happy with extensive travel.

Responsibilities, Activities and key Deliverables:

As part of the New Mining Technology team

• Be part of the team to develop a concept machine or mining method, out put a URS (User Requirement Specification)
• Develop a conceptional business case
• Assist the team to motivate a budget for the machine manufacture and trials
• Develop with the team a PEMS document (Project Execution Method Statement. Includes KPI’s and project success criteria)
• Conduct time studies / analysis on the machine and system.
• Develop reports against timelines, URS and PEMS document
• Project closure report and recommendations

SIMS (Short Interval Management System)

• Assist with configuring and implementation of the system
• System training of employees
• Develop reports from the system for use by Mine Management

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree / diploma is required
• Project Management beneficial

Experience

At least 5 years with:

• Previous Mining Exposure
• System optimisation Exposure
• Project Management Exposure
• Good knowledge of data analytics and reporting
• Good computer skills, Excel, MSWord, PowerPoint and PowerBI
• Good communication in English. Other languages will be an advantage

• Work at mines local and International for varying periods depending on project requirement
• Able to work underground
• Pass mines medical
• Pass mines safety and induction training
• In possession of a valid drivers licence and vehicle to safely drive to site and drive at site
