Data Analyst at PBT Group

PBT Group has a requirement for an end-to-end experienced Data Analyst with development experience. to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SQL and experience with data integrity and quality control. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, creating reports and dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse large data sets to identify trends and patterns
• Develop and maintain data reporting and dashboard tools
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and quality control processes
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision making

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
• Understanding of data integrity and data quality control processes
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and draw insights
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Client-facing skills are essential, as the Data Analyst will engage directly with stakeholders/businesses.
• Must have the full SDLC experience.
• Microsoft skills: SSIS/SSRS/PowerBI
• The Data Analyst must be able to build their own dashboards
• SSAS skills would be advantageous.
• Banking experience is highly preferable.
• Analysis skills – the Data Analyst needs to understand how the datasets relate to each other.
• Data Quality issues – need to identify and remedy the issues.
• Understand high-level data governance.
