1. Work Output Description
- The role of the Data Analyst will require the incumbent to access, review, and interpret data to meet the business challenges and requirements, which would ultimately impact on decision making, reporting, report structures and business validation to improve the quality of data throughout the business. The incumbent is required to gather information from multiple data sources and from informal repositories i.e., spreadsheets and more formal structures, data repositories, data lakes and the interpretation, pattern and trends identification thereof. The role of the analyst is analytical in nature – and that is critical to both the company as well as the career trajectory of the analyst.

2. Minimum Requirements
- Diploma information Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS)
- 2 Years Data Analytics/Data Management Experience
- 1 Year Exposure to Mining environment
- 1 Year Experience in Projects, Operations, Software Development

3. Advantageous
- Data Analysis/Statistics Certificate
- CMMS (SAP or similar) Certificate/Training
- Agile, PMBOK or other Certificate
- Microsoft Azure Data Explorer (Course/Training/Certificate)
- Microsoft Power BI (Course/Training/Certificate)
- Microsoft Power Apps (Course/Training/Certificate)

4. Skills and Knowledge
- Creative and Analytical Thinking Skills
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access applications and SAP
- English proficient – Write, speak and read
- Problem Solving Skills
