Job Overview:

We are looking for a Data Science Engineer to work alongside our senior data scientists on pioneering new data and analytics products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data science, machine learning, and software engineering, with a proven ability to implement effective data solutions in Azure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior data scientists to develop and implement new data science initiatives.
• Design and build robust data pipelines in Azure to support Data Science initiatives.
• Manage and report on cloud costing to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Assist in analysing IoT data and conduct governance tests to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Contribute to the development of the next generation of vehicle analytics based on mechanical engineering principles.
• Conduct data science experiments focused on feature engineering for machine learning models.
• Develop MLOps pipelines to monitor and optimize the performance of data science models.
• Innovate and develop AI-driven projects utilizing large language models (LLMs) and computer vision technologies.

• Knowledge of IoT data governance and compliance, particularly in mechanical contexts.
• Demonstrable expertise in MLOps and monitoring AI model performance in engineering applications.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply mechanical engineering principles to data-driven solutions.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a role that blends mechanical engineering with data science or AI, with a proven track record of implementing practical solutions.
