Data Scientist

• We have an opportunity for a candidate that has solid software development experience, a detailed understanding of machine-learning and modeling techniques to join the data science team. 

Responsibilities:

• Discovering solutions hidden within data and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
• Identify and source relevant data from internal and external sources
• Analyse and clean data
• Transform data and test analytical models
• Generate data visualizations and document findings
• Develop models into production solutions
• Refine models for the production environment
• Provide production support for existing solutions
• Test data and code

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience working on data science initiatives
• Knowledge of machine learning and data analytic techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Python and SQL experience
• Development and software engineering skills
• Able to explain complex concepts in layman’s terms
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (advantageous)

Qualifications:

• Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or computer engineering
