Data Scientist (expression of interest) at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)

Data Scientist:

PwC has a potential opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist who will be responsible for managing and optimizing existing data flows and databases, then in extracting, transforming and visualising data from the various sources throughout the various platforms. You will be required to develop dashboards that integrate with the reporting systems in order to provide insights to assist in better decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Database architecture design, maintenance and optimisation
• Develop records management processes and policies
• Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
• Database architecture design, maintenance and optimisation
• Create automated processes to extract, transform and load data

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years working experience as a Data Scientist within the Financial Services Industry
• Degree in Data Science or similar is a minimum requirement
• Masters level qualification is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of the regulatory analytics domain within banking/insurance sector will be an advantage
• Firm grip on analytics tools like SQL, R and Python
• Working knowledge or experience in the fields of data management, operations analytics, big data and artificial intelligence is preferred.
