THE WORK:

• You will be responsible for team decisions and will engage with multiple teams to contribute on key decisions in application data administration field.
• Your expertise will be crucial in providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Design and develop databases Capacity plan and conduct database backups Monitor logs for potential problems Monitor software database license processes Manage technical action reports to resolve software issues Provide outage resolution support Perform analysis to resolve issues Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Master proficiency in IBM DB2 Database Administration in IBM z/OS Advanced proficiency in IBM z/OS A minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant related skills Bachelor's Degree BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: Advanced proficiency in Database Optimization & Tuning Advanced proficiency in Database Performance Management Intermediate proficiency in IBM Db2 Query Management Facility (QMF) Intermediate proficiency in Job Control Language (JCL)

Qualifications

• Required Minimum 3 years experience as DB2 DBA in an IBM z OS environment Working knowledge of Mainframe MVS , DB2 for z OS, WINDOWS Operating systems, SQL, CICS and JCL. Batch operations and MVS architectures Preferred Skills DB2 v11 or higher in a z OS environment Understanding of a database management tools e.g. Performance monitor, schedulers, e.g. CONTROL M R O T DB2 Query Monitor for zOS DB2 SQL Performance Analyser OPTIM query Workload Tuner DB2 Administrator Tool for zOS DB2 for zOS DB2 Log Analysis Tool for zOS QMF for Workstation QMF for zOS CICS DBUG Tool TMON IDZ SQL and or Rexx coding to automate routing tasks.
