    Deal Desk Analyst

    Your day at NTT DATA

    • The Deal Desk Analyst is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for acting as a trusted advisor to the sales and technical delivery teams.
    • This role works as the primary point of contact amongst various business areas and constructs how non-standard deals should work.
    • The Deal Desk Analyst typically makes sure that deals are correctly constructed, guides teams to best pricing to maximize revenue, and addresses the complex details involved in a non-standard contract process to make certain the deal is completed promptly.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Could be responsible to construct and maintain a master view of deal pipeline information.
    • Collects, compiles and validates pipeline information received from internal stakeholders.
    • Provides periodic updates to internal teams for visibility on upcoming service activation requests
    • Analyzes pipeline information at regular intervals.
    • Documents and provides analysis to relevant managers to derive resource planning for supported technology.
    • Identifies demand of new technologies from analysis.
    • Works with internal stakeholders to do a preliminary of resource sizing for new technologies.
    • Reviews effort sizing with internal teams before submitting to internal Commercial team for further analysis of deal viability.
    • Serves as an expert in Deal Desk activities, which impact quota setting, bookings attainment, and deal structuring.
    • Serves as the trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure and quoting, advises the team on alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closure.
    • Provides general assistance and advice on common deal questions and Quote to Cash process questions.
    • Collaborates with impacted parties to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closure.
    • Partners with Sales Operations and Sales Systems teams to facilitate process and system improvements.

    To thrive in this role, you need to have:

    • Seasoned demonstrated ability to partner with Go-to-Market teams and other cross functional departments.
    • Seasoned understanding of revenue recognition rules.
    • Displays the ability to be organized and customer-focused, with strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback.
    • Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume.
    • Seasoned quantitative skills and highly proficient in sales tools and software.

    Academic qualifications and certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a related field.

    Required experience:

    • Seasoned Deal Desk, Order Management, Finance Operations, Sales Operations or Pricing experience preferred.
    • Seasoned experience in Direct and Channel Sales model is highly desirable.
