Job Description

• To generate and sustain new revenue streams across the banking product suite, through the origination and structuring of medium to high complex and medium value deals in the allocated sector/product to enable improved profitability, market share and competitive positioning.

Are you someone who can:

• Originate and grow market share across the business as well as creating a network to originate new business
• Deliver sales targets and grow portfolio under guidance and supervision, by performing end-to-end process of deal origination to deal conclusion through effective engagement and understanding of customer’s business and needs
• Understand the Bank’s credit policies and lending criteria
• Interpret financial statements and able to present the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of that business.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Have a minimum of a relevant Relevant BCom Degree in Law, Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related (a Postgraduate Degree is preferred)
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at specialist level
• Ability to build strong relations with CEOs of medium sized organisations
• Have good understanding of the respective product and ability to structure deals within that environment (e.g. commercial property or wealth and investment, etc.)
• Have knowledge of deal origination

• Understanding of the Bank’s credit policies and lending criteria
• Ability to deal with more complex transactions and structured repayment options
• Ability to present and advocate loans at committees
• Ability to increase product house footprint through targeting non banked clients
• Ability to build strong relations with CEOs of medium sized organisations
