Debtors & Leasing Administrator

• A property development company based in Hatfield Pretoria is looking for a Debtors / Leasing Administrator to join their team. It is essential that the successful candidate have 3-5 years’ experience as a Debtors Administrator.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Tertiary qualifications would be beneficial.
• Essential: MDA experience.
• Essential: Strong Excel experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Debtors Administrator.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all tenant documentation regarding the leasing of a student room is in order and is filed correctly.
• Capture all leases on the MDA system.
• Prepare monthly leasing schedule every month and verify actual occupancy against the bio-metric access system and the purchases of pre-paid electricity.
• Run a monthly rent roll by the 21st of each month.
• Send rental statements to tenants.
• Upload receipts onto the accounting system and allocate receipts to the correct tenant.
• Check rental payments to ensure that the debtors are kept to a minimum.
• To assist and answer queries from tenants.
• Ensure that the House Rules are enforced and assist with any disciplinary procedures with tenants that may arise from time to time.
• Issue vacate Notes to tenants when they wish to exit the building.
• Invoice and collect any charges from the tenants relating to maintenance, vandalism, lost keys, sleepovers, wi-fi etc.
• Refund deposits on termination of the lease agreement,
• Vacate the tenant from the accounting system on termination of the lease.
