Debtors Clerk (Eastern Cape) at Afrimat

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

• Grade 12 with accounting as a subject (required).
• Accounting diploma or degree will be advantageous
• Computer Literate - MS Office with advanced Excel experience MANDATORY
• Experience working with Sage X3 (Desirable)
• Clear criminal record
• Minimum of 5 years’ working experience as Debtor Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

• Managing and ensuring timely and accurate collections.
• Delivery notes, monthly invoices, cash and debtors’ reconciliations
• Apply customer receipts
• Monthly debtors’ statements
• Preparing for and assisting with audits
• Manage debtors’ queries and preparation of credit notes
• Processing of new credit applications
• Monitoring of credit limits and credit control
• Frequent communication with sites as well as with sales divisions
• Weekly, monthly and ad hoc feedback and reporting
• Ad hoc assignments
