    Instrument Technician (Lichtenburg)

    • Afrimat Industries is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician with 3-5 years’ experience in process plant production. In this role the successful candidate will play a key role in production optimisation and instrument control.

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

    • National N Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Instrumentation).
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a process plant production. Practical experience of cement manufacturing (plant and process) will be an added advantage.
    • Sound electrical knowledge.
    • Skilled in problem solving and fault finding in a mining/process environment.
    • Firm understanding of PLC fundamentals.
    • Able to work alone and as part of a team.

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • Maintain existing instrumentation throughout the plant.
    • Plan and execute new instrument installations.
    • Investigate faulty equipment and resolve the fault.
    • Must be willing to work overtime to resolve breakdowns
    • Prioritize and complete assigned tasks based on urgency and plant availability.
    • Initiate, execute, and close Work Orders promptly, including providing necessary feedback and completing associated reports.
    • Submit daily progress updates and reports to the Supervisor, highlighting completed work, schedule variances, delays, and proposed corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with other trades to get work completed.

    Creditors Clerk (Eastern Cape)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

    • Grade 12 with accounting as a subject (required).
    • Accounting diploma or degree will be advantageous
    • Computer Literate - MS Office with advanced Excel experience MANDATORY
    • Experience working with Sage X3 (Desirable)
    • Clear criminal record
    • Minimum of 5 years’ working experience

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • To manage all order and non-order payments and process all incoming invoices.
    • Perform check on accuracy of invoices and perform goods receipting function.
    • Submit processed invoices for payments.
    • Following up on queries concerning the distribution and whereabouts of invoices and
    • statements by liaising with team members, procurement, and suppliers.
    • Producing relevant accounts payable reports.
    • Prepare creditors reconciliations
    • General administration.
    • Various ad hoc duties, as and when required
    • Stay abreast of changes and best practice in the Accounts payable field.
    • Contribute to the on-going development of procedures and policies.
    • Provide backup support to Stores when required.
    • Manage own personal development to deliver improvements in systems and processes.
    • Establish and manage professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Always ensuring that all stakeholders are provided with regular feedback on any requests received.

    Debtors Clerk (Eastern Cape)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

    • Processing of new credit applications
    • Monitoring of credit limits and credit control
    • Frequent communication with sites as well as with sales divisions
    • Weekly, monthly and ad hoc feedback and reporting
    • Ad hoc assignments

    Regional Logistics/People Management Administrator (Kathu)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

    • Matric essential.
    • A tertiary qualification in Logistics/Road Freight/HR (People Management) would be preferred.
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as a Systems Administrator (Logistics preferred) coordinating/scheduling Transport/Operations and Products within an industrial or fast/bulk moving environment.
    • Experience in managing and coordinating payroll information and transactional People
    • Management functions for a small Logistics business with a multi-regional footprint.
    • Experience working on SAGE 300 and a working knowledge of the NBCRFLI Main Collective Agreement.
    • Basic understanding of Employee Relations (Disciplinary/Grievance procedures).
    • Working knowledge of EE, WSP/ATR requirements for the Logistics Industry.
    • Excellent computer skills (Above average Excel skills).
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment without close supervision.

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • Payroll (Weekly timesheets, monthly hours, leave)
    • South Africa's Road Transport Management System (RTMS - Process, Documents, Spreadsheet/Data/Information)
    • Booking sheets (Allocating trucks to correct client with correct order number)
    • Dealing with Clients / Transporters
    • People Management (Monthly and weekly reports, disciplinary action, contracts, personal files)
    • Employee annual medicals and inductions.
    • Statutory compliance Audits (Bargaining Council, DoEL.)
    • Internal & External Company Audits.

    Crusher Operator (Nkomati)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

    • Grade 12.
    • Heavy equipment certificate.
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in operating mobile crushing plants.
    • Knowledge of crushing and screening.
    • Experience in working in remote mining sites and in a cross-cultural working environment.
    • Knowledgeable of Mine Health and Safety Act requirements.
    • Able to work under pressure.
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
    • Ability to safely work, day and night shifts on a rotational basis.
    • Able to work in harsh weather conditions

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • Safely and effectively operate the mobile crushing machine by crushing blasted rock and other materials.
    • Conduct any required maintenance.
    • Ensure that there is enough material to run the machine.
    • Continually check the running of the machine to ensure it is running properly. This includes v-belts, conveyors, screens, blockages and bearings.
    • Change the screen as required.
    • Keep the machine clean.
    • Fill up the machine with fuel as required
