    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent NQF level qualification 
    • 2-3 years of proven clothing management experience 
    • Strong numeric ability and computer literacy 
    • Demonstrated business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills 
    • Effective team leadership and talent development capabilities 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
    • Ability to manage daily operations with attention to detail and result orientation 
    • Customer service focus and ability to build customer loyalty 
    • Adaptability to work flexible shifts and unsociable hours across multiple locations 
    • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Lead and inspire the Country Road Group team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
    • Manage daily department operations, ensuring high productivity, quality standards, and efficient merchandise presentation.
    • Recruit, select, develop, and motivate staff to build a capable, high-performing team aligned with brand values.
    • Apply strong business acumen to maximize department profitability through effective cost control and sales strategies.
    • Maintain robust stock management practices to minimize shrinkage and ensure accurate product restocking.
    • Implement service strategies and new initiatives to enhance customer experience and retail performance.
    • Communicate effectively with Head Office and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
    • Foster a positive team culture by promoting desired behaviours, coaching, and building strong interpersonal relationships.
    • Adapt to flexible shift patterns and manage workload effectively across multiple locations as required.
