Deputy Construction Project Manager -Polihali Dam at Royal HaskoningDHV South Africa

Main Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the relevant Construction Project Manager
• Monitor performance against contract requirements
• Prepare internal and external progress reports
• prepare and present motivation papers to the client review committees for any substantive decisions requiring client Approval.
• Liaise with relevant LHDA technical managers during  ongoing construction activities 

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer or approved equivalent professional accreditation

Experience

• Five years experience in construction management for heavy civils ( dams).
• Working knowledge of SHEQ requirements for major construction works

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Good time management skills
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines and handle pressure
• Proactive and self-started
