Grade 12 plus a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering/architecture/quantity surveying at NQF Level 7 or any Infrastructure Management Degree at NQF level 7 as recognized by SAQA.
The incumbent should have at least a minimum of 5 years’ appropriate experience in Infrastructure Management. Projects Management will be an added advantage. Computer literacy and driver’s license are essential.
The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the National Building Standards Act of 1977, Construction Industry Development Board Act, Project and Construction Management Act.
Registration with one of the Infrastructure Management relevant professional bodies. Strategic and leadership management. Change Management. Conflict Management.

Duties :
Manage Infrastructure Management Business Unit in the District. Generate business cases for rehabilitation or construction of facilities. Manage the compilation of maintenance submissions. Monitor and ensure compliance of facilities to norms, standards and prescripts.
