- AET Level 4 (standard 7 or Grade 9 to Grade 12) with a minimum of six months’ appropriate working experience. The candidate should be initiative, have problem solving skills, good interpersonal relations and sound communication skills.
- Honest and reliable. Ability to cope with physical demands of the position. Be able to work in a team. Knowledge of Pharmacy an advantage. Driver’s license will be an added advantage. Sound communication skills (both verbal and written).
Duties :
- Load and off-load boxes of stock into and off vehicles. Pack stock into shelves according to FIFO and FEFO. Pack stock in the warehouse according to set systems.
- Relocate and pack equipment including furniture in relevant working stations. Pack all other working material as required. Work according to schedule and all set work plans.
- Travel with drivers to collect and deliver, stock, prescription files, orders and cooler boxes. Collect and keep all worksheets safe as per collection schedule and delivery schedule, and hand over to Supervisors.
- Clear all working areas, walk pathways from boxes and stock including empty boxes. Perform all duties as per Standard operating procedures. Perform any other duties delegated by the Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements :

- A valid driver’s license, professional driving permits (PDP) and computer will be an added advantage.
Duties :
- Responsible to assist with issuing of stock from the shelves by means of VA2, pack stock in according to FIFO (first in first out) rule received from transit by means of VA7.
- Record all issued transaction on the VA11. Update VA11 during receipts. Off Load of bulk stock from the truck, sweep and ensure cleanliness of stores, corridors, and surrounding areas of stores.
- Participate in stock taking team of Ekurhuleni Health District and ensure that issued stock is delivered to the end-users, assist with compiling the report of issued stock and outstanding requisitions.
- Assist with the collecting & delivery of bulk stock either from government printing works or any driving within the section. Perform any other duties as delegated by the supervisor.
