Deputy Director: Security Management Services at Departments: Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs

key Performance Areas

• Manage implementation of MISS/PISP within the department and Municipalities Manage physical and information security disciplines within the department; Manage and implement access control services within the department;
• Manage establishment and implementation of security screening (vetting) strategies and procedures; Manage contract security;
• Ensure the provision and coordination of physical security support to the MEC’s visits; Develop a scheduled physical and information security audit programme.

Prerequisites

• Matric plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Security Management, Criminal Justice & Forensic Investigations/Policing or related as recognized by SAQA.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience at supervisory level and valid driver’s license (with exception of person with disability).
