Deputy Director (Service Impriovement) at Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness

REQUIREMENTS :

• Minimum educational qualification: An appropriate 4-year Health related degree (or equivalent) registrable with a South African Professions Council (SANC, SAPC & HPCSA).

Experience:

• Appropriate middle management experience. Extensive experience in managing and coordination of public health programmes or systems. Appropriate experience leading and managing improvement projects and initiatives. Inherent requirements of the job: Valid (Code B/ EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to travel within the province.

Competencies (knowledge/skills):

• Any legal, policy, managerial and clinical aspects of public health programmes/interventions and services. Good project management skills. Sound written and communication skills. Advanced computer literacy. Be familiar with the legal, policy, managerial and clinical aspects of the public health programmes/interventions and services. Strong deciding and respond to change. Sound presenting and communicating information. Good change management and ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels.
